Swimming pool and excursions

The swimming pool sits on the side of the hill that gives over the sea, facing south, and enjoys the sun from its first timid rays in the morning to when it slowly sets over the Island of Elba illuminating the surrounding sea with a stunning array of vibrant colours.  

It is not your usual rectangular blue swimming pool, but a lovely lake-like pool set amongst the olive trees, its water changing colour according to how the sun reflects off of the red earth and the lush vegetation that surrounds it. 

Its highly original form was conceived to have the least possible environmental impact, and it was constructed using a marble-dust and resin paste that extends beyond the basin itself over the side and all the way to the rocky slope, creating a beach-like area. One corner of the pool has an ample relaxation zone where you can lie down in an inch of water and enjoy the benefits of tiny aero-therapy bubbles.
