Our Relais de charme has seven junior suites that are all different from one another.

Each one has been named after someone special from our family’s history, and the interior design has been carefully studied to reflect that extraordinary ancestor’s personality.In order to best represent the spirit of the person the suite was named after, a charming life-sized black and white photograph and some of his or her personal belongings (like an old travel trunk, or an ancient typewriter) blend in seamlessly with the room’s design, accessories and furniture.

When leafing through her family album Anna Barberini recognized the characters which peopled the stories she was told as a child. Those “Once upon a time“ are spiritually present today, in the seven Junior Suites dedicated to her guests.

Seven totally different guest suites

Seven characters, seven worlds lived in according to their different lifestyles, memories, emotions, objects. This is how the concepts underlying each Junior Suite were born, ready to welcome whoever delights in becoming part of the sensations and atmospheres conjured up by the character represented.

Every detail in the Suites has been prepared with loving attention, in a careful melange between the antique – chosen from the patrimony of family furnishings and elements from state-of-the art design, researched the world over.

Each Junior Suite has a living corner with sofa or armchairs and is equipped with every comfort for the ideal stay:

The views that surround us here are so extraordinary that even the bathrooms have been graced with a window – so that our guests can enjoy the view any time they wish.

The bathrooms, which also differ from suite to suite, are highly original. The wash basins are sculpted from Tuscan Travertine, and the bathtub with shower is adorned with a natural stone mosaic. 

To complete the pampering, each bathroom comes with a complete quality courtesy kit, hair dryer, fluffy towels, slippers and bathrobes. Each time you enter your bathroom you will feel like you are entering an elegant spa or wellness centre.
