There is a very special atmosphere to life at Vedetta, a newly re-structured manor-house belonging to the Barberinis, one of the most historic families of the medieval village of Scarlino (Grosseto).
Vedetta’s welcoming hospitality and discreet intimacy are perfectly balanced and every detail has been carefully studied, to offer those friends who have chosen to breathe, with the pure air of Maremma, both freedom and privacy, in genuine comfort of a prestigious Home dominating the sea.
At our luxury Bed and Breakfast the histories of the Family members intermingle in the JSuites and the communal areas, in an ongoing theatre blending by gone memories with the realities of the contemporary.

We prefer to see the Relais Vedetta not as a hotel or Bed and breakfast, as such, but as a home in which we enjoy spoiling our guests as they relax and unwind. Not only, but we are just a short distance from Tuscany’s most beautiful beaches and surrounded by the cool shade trees of our park.

We have seven lovely double-bedded junior suites, each one conceived to really pamper our guests, and each with its own distinct and unique interior design, as well as all of the high level comforts one could ask for.
